Finding My Greatest Love: Myself

For so long, I searched for love in all the places the world told me to look. Love in friendships, in relationships, in the approval of others. But the love that truly changed my life—the one that took the longest to find—was the love I discovered within myself.

Growing up, I learned to be strong, to adapt, to entertain, and to bring joy to others. But behind the makeup, the laughter, and the dazzling performances, there was a part of me that still struggled. The world isn’t always kind to those who refuse to fit into its boxes, and there were times I questioned if I was enough. If I was worthy of love simply as I was.

Through years of strength and struggle, I fought to carve out a space where I could shine. Drag became my armor, my art, and my voice. But more than that, it became the mirror that reflected back my own resilience, beauty, and power. The moment I stopped seeking love from the outside and started pouring it into myself was the moment everything changed.

Now, I stand fully in my truth—bold, radiant, and unapologetically me. I no longer wait for the world to love me because I have already done the most important thing: I have chosen to love myself.

To anyone still on their journey, know this—your love story doesn’t have to follow anyone else’s script. The most powerful, unbreakable love you will ever find is the one you build within yourself. And once you do, the world will have no choice but to love you right back.

With love and light,
Crystal Quartz
