Together, they will support and host inclusive events aimed at fostering community, visibility, and access for people in communities surrounding the Grand River Watershed. This collaboration aligns with Sun Life’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, where creating an inclusive and respectful environment is a top priority.

For so long, I searched for love in all the places the world told me to look. Love in friendships, in relationships, in the approval of others. But the love that truly changed my life—the one that took the longest to find—was the love I discovered within myself.

Growing up, I learned to be strong, to adapt, to entertain, and to bring joy to others. But behind the makeup, the laughter, and the dazzling performances, there was a part of me that still struggled. The world isn’t always kind to those who refuse to fit into its boxes, and there were times I questioned if I was enough. If I was worthy of love simply as I was.
