Grand River Pride is a community program that celebrates and fosters the 2SLGBTQIA+ community everywhere along the Grand River Watershed. We are excited to bring forward new events, programs, and resources to cultivate further growth and support for this community and ultimately continue to help this region become an inclusive, loving, and well-informed space. In 2023, Grand River Pride coordinated the first-ever Cambridge Pride Week that quickly garnered a wave of community support. In 2024, we came back with our second week of events including our flagship Street Party, and launched the first-ever Ayr Pride. The weeks were filled with an assortment of events and opportunities for all ages, and our massive public street festival has welcomes thousands of people each year!
For 2025, we will be not only returning with these great lineups, but we will be introducing monthly events, and creating a Grant Program to help smaller communities fund events, too! Want to know more? Be sure to stay in touch by filling out the form on our main page!

It’s important to see yourself in the community you live in. Grand River Pride continues to help 2SLGBTQIA+ people come together in Cambridge, Ayr, and now through the Grand River.
We are now introducing our Grant Program to help communities find the necessary funding to host Pride events in their community.
Now, your sponsorship will bring more Pride Festivals, Social Events, and Support Programming to communities like Ayr, Woolwich, Brant, and around Waterloo Region. Our mission is to make these events free to everyone who joins us, and that takes a village.
